Russia has lost an estimated 977,650 troops in Ukraine since launching its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, according to Ukraine‘s General Staff on May 22.

The figure includes 870 Russian casualties recorded in the previous 24 hours.

The report also lists the destruction of 10,839 tanks and 22,574 armored fighting vehicles.

In addition, Russian forces have lost 49,268 vehicles and fuel tanks, 28,122 artillery systems, and 1,388 multiple launch rocket systems.

Other reported losses include 1,167 air defense systems, 372 aircraft, 336 helicopters, 36,797 drones, 28 ships and boats, and one submarine.
